Describe the relationship between a series of historical events, scientific ideas or concepts, or steps in technical procedures in a text, using language that pertains to time, sequence, and cause/effect.
This standard is all about steps, so it's thinking about "this happened, then this happened, then this." Now that students are third graders, they should be able to describe the specific order of things, as well as identifying cause and effect relationships.
