All aboard the nostalgia train, y'all.

Forming the final bridge between the Star Wars prequels and the original series, the very end of the movie consists of three scenes with undeniable references to Episode IV - A New Hope.

First, we see Darth Vader, Lord Sidious, and Grand Moff Tarkin gazing with admiration upon the early construction phase of the Death Star. This not only confirms that Anakin is pretty committed to his new role with the Sith, but that things are progressing to his satisfaction. (Although all we want to do is yell at the screen, "Don't bother! Your son is going to blow it to smithereens!")

Then, we cut to Senator Bail Organa handing his wife an infant girl, Leia, and then the two of them gaze upon the baby with "aww, how cute" love.

And finally, we watch as Obi-Wan Kenobi delivers baby Luke to his aunt and uncle on their moisture farm on Tatooine, and they hold the baby together while staring off into the iconic double suns. As they gaze into the distance, the theme music from A New Hope swells in the background, and for fans, it's the perfect segue into the older classics.
