Nnaife

Nnaife gives Nnu Ego exactly what she wants (children), but fails to give her what she needs (adequate provisions of food, clothing, and help to educate the children). Nnaife is an alcoholic but, more importantly, he has never been taught that he shouldn't do exactly what he wants. He constantly frustrates Nnu Ego's hopes and dreams. Lazy and desiring only to sit around and drink palm wine, he grows increasingly angry that life isn't giving him what he wants. He blames his senior wife, Nnu Ego, for his unrealized dreams.
