Glory
The judicial stenographer is the unsung hero of the courtroom. The transcriptions of hearings are absolutely a historical record, and may be the only documentation that future generations will have to describe what happened. They say history is written by those who win, but in twenty-first-century America, it's actually written by the person in the corner with the strange keyboard.
