Odds of Getting In
While it's often not difficult to gain the skills required to practice holistic health in particular, it can be hard to make a stand-alone career out of it. People who completely abandon the Western side of healthcare often wind up their own bosses. That's rad for feeling entrepreneurial and independent, but not quite as rad for achieving the amount of success required to feel financially stable.
When it comes time for you to try to turn your education or hobby into a career, you should know that it's probably going to be tough to earn a living doing it. At least at first. You'll need to make sure you set up shop in a community that's open to your ideas and willing to pay you for your services.
Don't shy away from mixing your alternative ideas with conventional ones for an easy step up. It's good to have a few different practices to fall back on.
