Character Analysis
This mysterious Georgian (the country, not the state) speaks very little English, and therefore doesn't have much to say about himself. Still, he is an important friend to Peekay during his time in the copper mine. In fact, he sacrifices his own life to rescue Peekay after his accident and Peekay, once again, in indebted to someone just as he's trying to be independent.
