Case File: The People of Troy vs. Odysseus
Police Reports
Case Description: Complainants (the people of Troy) accuse Defendant (Odysseus) of war crimes for conceiving the idea of the Trojan Horse. Aeneas joined this class-action law suit of disgruntled Trojans who thought that Odysseus' horse trick was an unacceptable way to win a war. Odysseus suggested that the Greeks build a giant wooden horse big enough to hide a bunch of warriors inside. The Greeks then left it as a "gift" for the Trojans and pretended to leave in peace. The Trojans hauled the horse into their city, and that night, the hidden Greeks slipped out and destroyed Troy. The Trojans claim that Odysseus' stratagem was dishonorable.
Case Status: Case dismissed. Hey, all's fair in love and war.
