Writing W.3.2.C
Use linking words and phrases (e.g., also, another, and, more, but) to connect ideas within categories of information.
This substandard helps bring ideas together in student writing and it keeps the smooth writing flow. Even more, they'll make connections between bigger ideas using these linking words and phrases. Not only can they connect ideas, but they can also be used to slightly transition. Writing can be daunting, but these words assist in creating a solid end product. Another thing: using these words is easy peasy.
