Tell a story or recount an experience with appropriate facts and relevant, descriptive details, speaking audibly in coherent sentences.

For some reason, we have a hunch that supporting statements with relevant facts is a really important skill for students down the line. Huh. Second graders are dipping their toes into some analytical skills along with developing their organization and coherent language abilities with this one. It's a win-win-win.
