Glory
There's glory to be had in a job well done. You start out with patients who can't walk, sit, stand, or even move. You work with patients who've been in intractable pain for many moons. When you're finished with them, and they can again face life free of pain and infirmity, all because of your work with them, you and your ego should swell with pride and glory should rain down upon you from your clients, as well as your friends and colleagues.
Kudos to you.
