Odds of Getting In
The odds of getting in are great. They're so great, you could play these odds in Vegas and probably come out on top. If the sitter's city offers a potentially profitable client base, sitters who can jump through the paperwork and logistical hoops are basically good to go.
Professional pet sitters don't need to go on a waiting list for a painfully small number of jobs, or serve a years-long apprenticeship before sitting for an impossibly grueling certification exam. Even if other pet sitters have already set up shop, most sitters will probably find there's room for one more player in their hometown—no need for a fight-to-the-death, quick draw duel for pet sitting superiority.
