Physical Danger
Do you even lift, bro? Because you really should be able to lift the equivalent of an adult-human-body from a wheelchair onto a bed. You'll be on your feet a lot and doing a lot of manual labor. Be prepared for the aches and pains that come along with that. Thankfully it's nothing a foot rub and a soothing bubble bath can't fix (plus maybe a physical therapist and back brace, if it gets really bad) (source).
Try to remain calm here, but you may every once in a while get a cold or other easily communicable disease. You'll often be around people with all kinds of illnesses, so it sort of comes with the territory. Make sure to wash your hands often and take note of any bacteria or bodily fluids you come into contact with—basic stuff, but it could help in the long run.
