It's certainly possible, although you'd have to really be a look-on-the-bright-side type of person...the type of person who could get a real sense of satisfaction from averting disasters in the workplace each day. Or maybe you feel a wonderful sense of teamwork when you complete a job.
A lot of people attracted to this job may feel glorious for the very same reason they got into it in the first place: They love big trucks. You flourish knowing that you can drive and operate big trucks and other machinery that most other people can't.
