Physical Danger
This job could take you to kitchens all around the world—and if there are two places we know to be dangerous, they're the kitchen and the world. Kitchen risks include knives, fire, and a whole mixed bag of other razor-sharp objects and hot surfaces. Don't leave the cheese grater on the stove when it's on. Yowch.
The original entrepreneur was the traveling salesman, and it still holds true that you probably can't do this job from home. That means travel, which means flying (which isn’t really all that risky, unless you count air sickness), or driving. If you're driving a lot, and working a lot, you truly must be careful not to drive under the influence of sleepiness. Fatigue while driving is a national concern, so if you're feeling drowsy, pull over.
