Okay, so maybe hurling yourself out of helicopters into an angry ocean or facing off against Somali pirates is a bit more risky than other professions.
Luckily, you've got great health coverage.
Besides, keep in mind that you're thoroughly, exhaustively trained. That's why boot camp is so hard. You have to be fully prepared for whatever situations you're thrown into, so your training officers have to break you down and put you back together—stronger than before.
And think about it: Your training officers wouldn't give you the gun and uniform if they didn't think you could handle yourself on the job.
