Padmé (Natalie Portman)’s Timeline and Summary

Padmé calls Viceroy Gunray to gloat that the blockade has come to an end thanks to the Chancellor's ambassadors. Gunray says he has no idea what she's talking about.
Unseen in the film, during the invasion, Padmé pulls a Princess and Pauper and switches clothes with her bodyguard Sabé, pretending to be a handmaiden.
Padmé and her court are captured by Gunray. On their way to Camp 4, they're rescued by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The group boards a Naboo cruiser and escapes the planet.
On Tatooine, Padmé joins Qui-Gon because she is curious about the planet.
Padmé vocally objects to Qui-Gon's podracing plan, but pretending to be a mere handmaiden, she can't command him to do otherwise.
On the way to Coruscant, Anakin gives Padmé a charm so she'll remember him.
On Coruscant, Padmé switches back into queen mode. Senator Palpatine advises her to motion a vote of no confidence in Supreme Chancellor Valorum so a new, more powerful chancellor may be elected.
Padmé goes before the Galactic Senate to plead for intervention of the Trade Federation invasion. Fearing the process will be too slow, she moves for a vote of no confidence in Valorum.
Realizing politics will not save her people, Padmé returns to Naboo.
There, she rallies her people and brokers peace with the Gungans.
Padmé forms a battle plan and personally leads the assault on the palace. She and her forces capture Viceroy Gunray.
Padmé brings peace to her planet and people and returns to her duties as queen.
