As we’ve talked about over and over again, the main action, tension, and conflict are all internalized in Orlando. Orlando wrestles with Orlando, and Orlando wins. This becomes even more explicitly clear towards the end of the novel as Orlando’s multiple selves strive to become a single, whole person.
