Character Analysis
Giant Rumblebuffin was turned into a statue by the White Witch when he tried to crush her. Aslan magically brings him to life by breathing on his feet; the power of Aslan's breath carries up along the giant's body.
Lucy and Susan are frightened of Giant Rumblebuffin at first, but soon realize that he's kind and gentle. Although Giant Rumblebuffin is a pretty minor character, he reminds the reader not to judge based on appearances—at least not all the time.
