Doña Rodriguez Timeline and Summary

Doña Rodriguez shows up in the Duke and Duchess's castle while Don Quixote and Sancho are entering. She gets into a war of words with Sancho because she doesn't want to be bossed around by a pudgy little twerp.
After Don Quixote has had some adventures at the Duke and Duchess's place, Doña Rodriguez visits him in his bed and asks him to help her. It turns out that a rich farmer's son from the area got her daughter to sleep with him by promising marriage but then backed out afterward. She wants Don Quixote to force the boy to marry her daughter. The only problem is that the young man's father is close to the Duke, and the Duke sides with him.
Don Quixote challenges the young man to a duel, and the Duke says the duel will take place in a few days.
On the day of the event, Doña Rodriguez and her daughter wait in anticipation, hoping that Don Quixote will win and that the young man will have to marry the daughter.
But the person in the duel takes off his helmet to reveal that he is one of the Duke's servants, which shows that the Duke has been cheating.
The Duke's servant wants to marry Doña Rodriguez's daughter, anyway. But things don't work out that way. The Duke has the servant beaten for his disobedience, and Doña Rodriguez's daughter goes to live the rest of her life in a convent. It's pretty grim.
