Le Bret

Le Bret isn’t exactly the most complicated character. In fact, you could make the argument that he’s around solely to point things out to us. He tells us about Cyrano’s character in the first act, points out to Cyrano that he seems to have a penchant for making enemies, makes the comment that Cyrano would rather have Roxane than his ideals, and rants about Cyrano’s overblown chivalry.
