Grendel Timeline and Summary

Grendel hears the Danish minstrel singing a song about the creation of the world and is angered.
He attacks Heorot Hall every night for many years, killing Danish warriors and rampaging through their land.
Grendel meets his destructor: the warrior Beowulf. Grendel has his arm torn out of the socket by Beowulf during a hand-to-hand wrestling match.
Mortally wounded, Grendel slinks off into the wilderness to die.
