Context

The last chapter of Lord of the Flies has the boys being discovered by British officers.

When they find the boys, they can't be sure if they're "savages" or "civilized" people—and the answer comes when Ralph opens his mouth to speak British English. 

Yeah, we're still not convinced.

Where you've heard it

You probably haven't heard this quote anywhere—it's not a super quotable one—but, sadly, the sentiment is pretty universal. Biases based on how people talk are everywhere. Here are a few studies to back it up.
